Andrew joined Eczema UK as Chief Executive in March 2018, bringing more than 15 years’ experience in the charity sector. Prior to joining the Society, he held senior roles at Asthma + Lung UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Action Medical Research, building a strong track record in health information, advocacy and supporter engagement.
Julie has worked with Eczema UK for 25 years, as a local volunteer and now as an Eczema UK nurse adviser for four hours a week. Julie’s work at Eczema UK includes writing eczema information, presenting webinars and supporting Eczema UK at public events.
Eleanor joined Eczema UK in May 2024 as the first of four of our new Lead roles. Eleanor leads our website, exchange magazine, webinars, podcasts and informational health content across print and digital media. She brings over five years of experience working in external communications and digital marketing across the charity sector, with specific focus on health content creation and graphic design.
Roy is the latest addition to the team and as Head of Development has responsibility for growing the Charity’s income, partnerships and membership. He is delighted to be working with such a well-established charity and hopes that his enthusiasm for client self-empowerment will persuade many of the 8 million UK Eczema community to join the charity in creating awareness, community support and income for vital research.
Charlene is an experienced project manager with a strong background in Research and Grant Management within the fields of Health care, Social Research, AI and Digital Development, and Higher Education. With her own academic background in the Social Sciences Charlene combines her academic expertise with practical experience to drive impactful research collaborations and development projects.
