Roy Stannard, Head of Development

Roy is the latest addition to the team and as Head of Development has responsibility for growing the Charity’s income, partnerships and membership. After many years in executive roles in the comms sector he moved across into the Third Sector in 2018 and has worked in senior management roles with the disability charity Just Different; the social poverty charity Off The Fence where he raised funding to purchase and equip a women’s centre and most recently at AtaLoss, the national grief support charity. As Director of Income Generation & Comms there, he assembled and organised the department, assisted with rebranding and the formation of a newly created All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) looking into the economic impact of bereavement on the UK economy.

He is delighted to be working with such a well-established charity and hopes that his enthusiasm for client self-empowerment will persuade many of the 8 million UK Eczema community to join the charity in creating awareness, community support and income for vital research. In his spare time Roy enjoys spending time with family, organising concerts, live music and hosting two weekend radio shows.
