Eczema Awareness Week 2026

12th September 2026

Eczema Awareness Week begins today, and this year we're focusing on something simple but often overlooked: the hidden burden of eczema.

Eczema can look different for everyone. It can be a baby's first flare-up, a child scratching through the night, or an adult navigating the emotional weight of a visible condition. But whatever it looks like on the surface, its impact often reaches far beyond what's visible, affecting sleep, confidence, relationships, work and daily life.

Throughout the week, we'll be sharing real stories from the eczema community and ways to get involved, including our #SeeWhatISee campaign, our call for everyone affected by eczema to share both sides of their experience, skin at its best, and at its worst.

We'll also be cheering on our team taking on the Great North Run this weekend in support of Eczema UK, a fitting way to mark a week all about showing that eczema is so much more than skin deep.

Find out more and get involved throughout Eczema Awareness Week.
